This beautiful extension, designed by Gent-based architecture studio Wim Goes Architecture can be found about 10 kilometers from Belgium's third-largest city, Gent. The slatted timber walls create transparency which adds an almost ghostly quality to the design and really do (to use a cliche) bring the outside in. A diamond in the rough world of home extensions.
