Treasure Hunt Crash

1. I had written a post entitled "Janitor on road is indeed a Hazard" that might relate to my current post today. Road janitor is undeniably among the most dangerous and risky job in Malaysia. While they are usually not practicing proper safety protection, they are working recklessly on the side of the road. My fear has become true. Below is the story that emailed to me.

2. The accident was occured in 2006 at Melaka near Malim exit. A speeding treasure hunt car (Proton Wira) hit a road worker that was doing some painting work on the fence divider. Then the car lost control and hit another car (Proton Iswara) from the opposite direction. The road worker died on the spot. Poor guy. It is not like his 100% mistake though. Sigh.

White Satria Jumps Into the River!

Crash Satria1. This was a crash that happened in Kuala Lumpur, where a white Proton Satria lost control and "jump" into Sungai Klang (river). Luckily the driver was safe and he managed to tell us the life-threatening incident in the email. Since the writing is in Malay language, I will write a short summary about his experience.

2. Don't take off your seatbelt during the airborne. Open the car door before hitting the water. This will make things easier because once in the water, it is almost impossible to open the door due to high pressure. Also, after landing, don't panic and control your composure. Break the car windows if the door is jammed. Immediately, you should swim away from the car if you manage to get out. That is all. :)

Satria white

Syukur.. Nak kena bertaubat ni..Kereta aku mungkin total lost coz chassis dah lari habis.. Pillar dah bengkok..

Aku bersyukur masih selamat..

Macam kes aku, aku sempat buka pintu je.. Tapi bila dah jatuh, pintu tu tertutup balik... Tapi tak rapat la.. Even tak rapat pun, aku masih susah nak buka balik disebabkan tekanan air yang kuat.. Aku kena pecahkan cermin tingkap sebelah aku untuk kurangkan tekanan air dan buka pintu.. Tekanan masih kuat masa tu tapi tidak la sekuat kalau tingkap tak buka.. Aku cuma mampu buka pintu sikit je, muat-muat badan aku nak keluar..

JANGAN TANGGALKAN SEAT BELT SEBELUM KERETA MENDARAT.. Kalau tak pakai, aku rasa air dah tolak aku kena kat body kereta dah, tak pun kena kat cermin depan yang dah pecah..

Dah masuk dalam air, memang lemas.. Macam kes aku, lepas kereta dah mendarat kat dasar sungai, air terus masuk sampai tenggelam kereta.. Takde kesian dah... Lemas camne pun, JANGAN GELABAH.. Mula memang aku gelabah..

Aku keluar ikut pintu.. Kalau terpaksa pecah cermin, pecah pakai kaki.. Aku pecah pakai tangan sebab aku dah tak fikir apa.. Akibatnya, aku mengalami kesukaran untuk berenang sebab tangan aku pedih giler..

Dah keluar, JANGAN LEPAK ATAS BUMBUNG KERETA menunggu bantuan.. Mahu rentung aku..

India Road Traffic Signs Jokes

1. Somebody emailed me these road signs pictures that can be found in India. They are funny but the words are true. Please take lessons from these signages. "Don't dream, otherwise you will scream". Meaning don't sleep while driving!

2. Be Gentle on my Curves. Well, no comment hehe.

3. Drive like Hell and you'll be there. Indeed, don't be the cause of other's people misery.

4. This is highway, not a runway. Exactly.

5. Accident begins where alertness ends. Very true.

6. Hospital ceiling are boring to look at avoid accident. Weird sentence but I know you guys got what it means right?

7. Be slower on the earth than quicker to eternity. Haha.

8. Mind your brakes or break your mind. Please check your car regularly.

9. Live for your today, drive for your tomorrow. Just be careful.

10. Make love not war but nothing while driving. Don't make love when driving!

New Traffic Lamborghini Gallardo Patrol Car in Doha

1. This morning I got an email from my colleague, Ramizam about new traffic Lamborghini Gallardo patrol car in Doha. The car photos looks really awesome. To match public and people's fast and luxury cars in Doha, I think this is really a nice and intelligent move by Doha government.

2. But how about Malaysia? How Malaysia government counter the problem of many "super modified" cars on Malaysian road? Here is the solution: Mitsubishi EVO 10 Patrol Car. Not too bad huh.

Irony Malaysian Driving Style. Funny.

1. Somebody has sent me through the email about this funny little jokes of Malaysian driving style. I believe this cartoon illustration is from either TheStar or the New Straits Times Newspaper, well I'm not too sure actually. But I found it is really funny. If you don't know, "bodoh" means stupid. :D

2. I personally had this kind of experience. I saw a driver in front of me driving with his baby at the steering wheel at Jalan Sultan Ismail, near Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur. So my point here is this is not just a cartoon, this is a reality that Malaysian or whoever to take lesson. Putting the baby in front of you not only disturbing your driving focus, but also will endanger the baby if anything happens. So please think safety.

BMW 645 Crashed at Autobahn Kaiserslautern, Germany

Crash BMW
1. Got this story from the Internet. I found this story interesting because the crash happened at Autobahn highway which I think the only one highway with no speed limit. As told by the police investigator, "the driver of this brand new 645 BMW was going about 125 Mph when he hit the rear end of a Bob-tailed Tractor trailer. Really says something about the safety of the new car designs" He was actually blaming that speed is the issue while I wonder how can he know the speed of the car. No cars on earth will survive when hitting rear end of the lorry.

2. This happened about 2 Kilometers East of Kaiserslautern, Germany on Autobahn 6 back in early March of this year. The driver of the BMW is a 24 year old star for the Kaiserslautern Germany professional Soccer Team. Car cost about ¤100K or more according to the Polizei. He hit the back end of a Bob Tail AAFES truck and spun him 180 degrees around so he was facing the oncoming traffic.

Crash BMW AUTOBAHN3. The guy I was riding with was about 300 Meters behind the AAFES truck and saw the whole thing happen. BMW driver was doing about 200 Kph in the left of three lanes then a small car cut him off. The only option the BMW guy had was either hit the little red car that cut him off or dive into the center lane where the AAFES truck was.

4. He chose the truck. Never hit the brakes at all. No skid marks; happened too fast. Best thing was both drivers walked away. Truck driver had a bump on his right arm but no other injuries. Really lucky drivers. But shock isn't it? The driver of BMW walked away, with little injuries? Not dead? Hmm Hmm Hmm It is just too impossible ..

Horror Manufacturing Machine Accident Pictures

1. Somebody has sent me these pictures to my email. There are a lot more horror pictures of this case in my email inbox. But I just afford to post some because even me has some kind of goosebump watching these kind of horror accident pictures. If you are kind of brave person, you might be interested on this horror crash accident pictures too.

2. The title of the email is sleeping while working. I'm actually don't quite understand whether it is a joke or what. The victim was slept before the accident or the victim looks like sleeping after the accident. Whatever it is, I think the lesson that you can take is don't do your job if you were not fit enough. Asleep while handling heavy machine will indeed penalize your body and even your life. So be careful. One more thing, safety, health and environment (SHE) practise should not be negelected by any company.

3. If you want more picture of these, just toss me at message box below. Please be careful on your daily job because accident would occur without any warning. Prevention is better than cure.

A New Joystick-Controlled Mercedes Benz SCL600 Car

Mercedes Benz SCL600 11. The newly introduce Benz is very different....really different.

Mercedes Benz SCL600 22. If you do not know, this is new Mercedes Benz SCL600. The car is really different.

Mercedes Benz SCL600 33. Look at the car boot now! It is indeed a different one! But not too weird right? Now coming to the most bizzare and grotesque parts...

Mercedes Benz SCL600 4
Mercedes Benz SCL600 54. No Steering wheel, you drive with a joystick. No pedals either! Can you drive with a joystick? Your kids and grand kids probably can. The influence of video games in our lives has really arrived. Wouldnt you say?

5. Got this from the email. So I digg around and found out that this news is indeed TRUE. But this car is made for a futuristic automobile research, not for sale. Maybe in couple of years, we can use this kind of technology, driving using a mere joystick! This design has been introduced at Paris Motor Show 1996 to show off groundbreaking systems for improving safety and comfort in a passenger car. For more details, go google DaimlerChrysler's F 200 Concept Study.

Safety: Silent Hazard Emission from Your Car

A Dog in Car Window
1. I got this email from a friend. Already search on the Internet to find the truth of this email but lead me to nowhere. But if we think logically, it is relevant suggestion and need to be instilled in our mind, especially those who reside in tropical countries like Malaysia.

2. According to research done by a U.C., the car dashboard, sofa, air freshener will emit Benzene, a cancer causing toxin (carcinogen). In addition to causing cancer, it poisons your bones, causes anemia, and reduces white blood cells. Prolonged exposure will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer. May also cause miscarriage.

3. Acceptable Benezene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked indoors with the windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benezene. If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benezene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level. The people inside the car will inevitably inhale an excess amount of the toxin.

4. It is recommended that you open the windows and door to give time for the interior to air out before you enter. Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidney and liver, and is difficult for your body to expel. Prevention is Better than Cure...

He Lived. Wear Your Helmet!

Motorcycle Lorry Crash Pictures 11. I got this email from my colleague, it has been a while, might as well you already read this email, but in case you didn't, this is something you need to stop and ponder. I will comment a bit about this road safety email based on my observation.

2. Introduction: A truck was traveling down the highway at around 1 o'clock in the morning near Tulsa, Oklahoma. Motorcyclist was traveling at about 120mph (180km/h) and ran into the back of the moving semi-truck. Truck driver said he felt the impact, and it took almost a 1/4 mile for him to pull over. This is what we found...

Motorcycle Lorry Crash Pictures 23. What that guy is doing? Looking for his lost stuff inside the truck? But his body position is just too weird for the task. Lets zoom it a bit..

Motorcycle Lorry Crash Pictures 34. Holy Moly Poly! The head is just stuck at the back of the lorry. You might wonder why the rescuer didnt remove the guy from the lorry. You know the answer? I dont know, but from my humble opinion, it is either the guy was already dead (which implies that the title of the email is just wrong! haha). OR you know, you cant just remove a person from the scene without any consultation from medical expert as if u remove the guy wrongly, high possibility that the condition of the guy would be worsen and might as well be dead.

Motorcycle Lorry Crash Pictures 4
Motorcycle Lorry Crash Pictures 55. The introduction told us that the biker's speed was about 180km/h. So do you believe that? Maybe there were witnesses but how trustworthy these witnesses are? Even expert cant determine speed of a vehicle just by looking at it unless there are some reference point for example the expert know the speed of lorry before that severe collision. But based on my experience, the speed is relevant as I have seen my real friend speed up to 220km/h using his R1 motorbike! Anyway, to summarize thing, helmet is indeed could save life or at least if it didnt, it save your head from blowing out so that somebody will recognize you and your remaining is still intact. So what are you waiting for? Wear your helmet!

Update and Editted: He was DEAD, so my 1st assumption is correct. Follow this Link to Know the Truth
